This is Water Response:
5) Each human is, indeed, the center of their own universe. The things that we experience are all our own, each one relating to us. The only way we can tell someone else's exact feelings is if they verbally communicate it to us, which means that our own feelings are the only ones that we truly get understand as they happen. Art is the great universal connector of feelings; With art, one can experience another's emotions or their world. While art may let us experience an artist's feelings, other it be through music, or words, or paint, the only way to understand a loved one's reality is to ask them about it. The more you understand someone and how they feel about things, the more you can anticipate their emotions and anticipate the way that they see the world. While it is true that we can only ever fully understand our own realities, it is possible to broaden our horizons by learning to understand components of others' realities. It is also useful, as Wallace said, to make up certain truths about reality that are not impossible, but highly unlikely. If you treat others like they are just as important as you, you can treat other people better and see the world in a better light. Reality is a choice, happiness is a choice, and being happy through most of your life depends on the circumstances in which you view your own reality.
